The MHSM program empowers you to master advanced leadership, strategy, and financial management concepts. You will critically analyze global health systems, solve complex problems using theoretical and applied knowledge, and complete an Integrated Written Project that applies multidimensional factors to real-world health organizational challenges.

Our program combines blended learning techniques, distance delivery, and residential (face-to-face) sessions in a compressed format. This flexible approach allows you to balance commitments while engaging with professors and peers to enhance your learning experience.

The global standing of Dhillon and the Faculty of Health Sciences, paired with the faculty's hands-on, interdisciplinary approach, ensures your degree empowers you to drive transformation and make a meaningful difference in healthcare management. 

While your courses will be predominantly online, there are approximately four in-person sessions per term. Our Calgary campus is located next to the City Hall LRT station, where both lines converge, allowing for easy commuting.

Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:

An undergraduate degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Management, or a related field

Completion of the University of Lethbridge’s Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Health Sciences combined degree program

And the following requirement must also be met:

A minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale)

Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:

An undergraduate degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Management, or a related field

Completion of the University of Lethbridge’s Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Health Sciences combined degree program

Completion of the Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management program at ULethbridge

And the following requirements must also be met:

A minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale)

Proof of English language proficiency (ELP)

Please note: proof of successful experience in the health sector is typically required for both programs. Preference is given to applicants who have 2+ years of work experience.

The GCHSM program is ideal for those starting their career in healthcare management and serves as a foundation for further education and career advancement.

Yes, the GCHSM provides a strong foundation for progressing into the MHSM, allowing you to expand your expertise and prepare for senior roles in healthcare management.

No, MHSM and GCHSM graduates are not eligible to apply for a post-graduation work permit due to the program’s part-time structure. Additionally, these programs are not suitable for international students.
